Product Review: Glass Straws

If you are looking for yet another way to go green, I highly encourage investing in some glass straws. Not only are they gorgeous, but they come in different lengths and designs which can be used to identify which glass belongs to who!

I recently received a package from the Glass Dharma of different glass straws to review. They were all so beautiful!

There were four different glass straws: the "Decorative Dots" Sipper in Green (6.25'' long and 7mm wide), the "Simple Elegance" Smoothie (9'' long and 12mm wide), the "Beautiful Bends" Ice Tea (9'' long and 9.5mm wide), and the "Decorative Dots" Ice Tea in Amber (9'' long and 9.5mm wide). I also received two cleaning straws; one for the Sipper and one for the Smoothie. 

First up, the Decorative Dots. Ice Tea time!

The "ice tea" size is really the "all purpose" straw; this would be the size you would want for your typical, every day drink. It sips easily like a straw should and is beautiful crafted. The amber glass dots on the side are lovely and perfect for identifying someone's drink. 

Next: the Sipper.

This little straw is SO CUTE! It's so tiny. The perfect size for a drink you sip slowly, like wine, coffee, champagne, or something of the like. Again, the green glass dots are gorgeous. And note the cleaning brush. It allows you to easily clean the inside of the straw without too much trouble.

Next: the Smoothie. 

This straw is larger in diameter, perfect for sipping smoothies or milkshakes, which are thicker than your average drink. Again, it is easy to use and beautiful. The larger cleaning brush allows for easy cleaning. Glass Dharma also makes a Bubble Tea straw, which easily allows the user to sip up those tapioca balls that are so unique to bubble tea!

Finally, the Beautiful Bends Ice Tea. 

This straw is the same size as the typical Ice Tea straw, but it is already bent to allow for easier drinking. I could see this being a good choice for kids who would typically need bendy straws.
